🤳Why Rich Quick Cannot and Does Not Exist

We all wish it could happen to us and if it did, we wouldn’t be comparing ourselves or struggle during a pandemic.

Passive income is fun.

It is making money while sleeping and exercising.

It truly is the best income source and how the rich get richer.

A staggering 85% of Americans are not able to make an unexpected emergency payment of $500.

That is more than just a problem so first off who to blame?

The education system, our parents, ourselves?

Financial literacy along with our mental health are the most vital parts of our life and the only things we seem to take for granted.

We are so stubborn creatures unless something drastic happens like we lose our house to an earthquake or go into debt, we won’t bother taking initiative.

This is why the rich quick scheme doesn’t exist.

Sure, you can make an e-commerce store on Amazon in less than 10 minutes, drive upwards of $10k in sales the next day and enjoy drinking champagne passively, but that never happens for long.

I can even attest to a guy who quit his half a million dollar salary at Google to live a happier, longer, and family time living at home working all through Shopify.

Making a little less but not by much when you take into the lesser taxes you have to pay when self-employed.

Hard work is always behind the scenes and if rich quick did exist, you still cannot name a few who did it because they never lasted.

We strive to do outrageous things and end up disappointing ourselves in the long run.

Yes, it’s good to be audacious but at the end of the day, it will only make you more disappointed about what you didn’t achieve than what you did.

I try to be a realist.

That has helped my family rise to the upper class as immigrants from Poland.

We lived extremely frugally and once we earned a million, our habits had no reason to stop.

It was consistent and after all, we never felt it was hard to do because we appreciated what we needed and don’t need more.

You really don’t need much in life and if you think you do, you are a brat and not being human.

Get back to human.

Get back to basics.

Appreciate what you have so you can work hard towards a goal that is meaningful, not for money.

Of course, money does not equal happiness but just saying that won’t get the point across because even telling the American people to set up an emergency savings account to help them survive or a mask to be healthy won’t cut it so we need a bigger incentive.

Your job, career, task you take on in life will never be permanent.

It can be if you truly enjoy it but unfortunately, that doesn’t happen with most folks.

We are more disappointed and the volatility in the job market leaves us empty-handed.

E-commerce is on the rise and that’s where the role of the fake ads role in.

Enticing us with rick quick schemes that lead to Ponzi schemes soon after.

Too much of a good thing is bad.

Long Haul Baby

You are here for the long run.

You will just burn out faster and not enjoy the ride if you rush yourself into making money.

What does it even provide you if you die young and have all this accumulated wealth?

Never had time for a family only Amazon web services by your side.

Pick your poison.

Hard work takes time and patience, something that is surprisingly hard to deal with.

Anyone can be taught hard skills, soft skills such as patience, diligence, dealing with difficult people and customers, will get you ahead in the long run.

On average, it takes 32 years for someone to become a millionaire.

Rich people didn’t get rich by wasting money.

The faster you make money, the quicker you tend to spend it. The National Endowment for Financial Education found that up to 70% of people who receive a large amount of money upfront, blow it within a few years.

Never have that mindset and you are on your way.
